TRAINING CLASSES

Basic training is offered as a 6 week course to beginner dogs and puppies on a roll on roll off basis at any time. There's no waiting for the course to start ensuring that you get your training when you need it. Classes last 1 hour and are designed to help owners work through the course with individual attention as well as group work. During the 6 week course puppies under 12 months make progress towards gaining a Kennel Club puppy foundation award.

Following the 6 week course owners and dogs can further their training in order to achieve a higher level of competence in all training excersises. Kennel Club Good Citizen dog scheme tests may be taken bi-annually at bronze, silver and gold levels.

Most of all classes are enjoyable, stress free, relaxed and fun.

Individual requirements are catered for so that if you want to show your dog or compete in some other activity then your needs will be addressed in the class. Disabled owners are most welcome as are members of the family other than just the dog owner/handler.

1 TO 1 HOME VISITS

If you cannot attend classes or you have a dog with a behaviour problem where classes are not initially appropriate then a home training visit can be arranged for you. This will include me coming to your home and assessing your dog's problems in it's own environment. I will then use modern training methods to help shape the behaviour of your dog. The session usually lasts up to 2 hours and is often enough to achieve the desired results. You can have follow up sessions or enrol on courses if you wish to further your training.
